And Then Came eBay

Just an announcement to anyone interested in my miniature work: I've started selling things on eBay. I'm not bailing on Etsy just yet, but between making plans to try out other venues and talking to other mini-collectors about what sites they liked/trusted, I'm willing to give it a try if you guys are.

But Kyle, you posted a link to eBay in your sidebar weeks ago.
Yes I did, good eye.

Like with all new ventures, there are things I had to read up on and some things worth figuring out before I was certain that I wanted to make eBay a regular thing. I think I like it, and I've made a couple sales already.
Now it's official. I'm on eBay :)

Feel free to browse through what's available. Here are photos of my some of my current listings;

Some things you may have seen before, while others were made specially for the new eBay shop-more will be posted soon. If you would like to see new items as I make them, without having to follow me on Etsy AND eBay, feel free to visit my DeviantArt gallery. I am also trying to keep an up to date Facebook album for my miniature work, but something about FB expecting me to pay to just put my posts into my follower's timelines makes that task the last thing on my to do list. I can post-literally anywhere else- and know that my followers can see everything. Seems silly to me...

Anyway, that's what's new. Feel free to let me know what you think. (I listen)

    1. They've been doing this for a while now. They only let a certain percentage of followers see posts in their timeline for free. I used to think that "Liking" a page meant that I'd get updates from things that I liked-not really. And yet FB finds plenty of room on my timeline to show me updates for things that friends have liked, and random ads. Hmmm...If you want updates from the pages you like on FB I recommend periodically going to the page yourself.

      It's a similar reason as to why you can go days without seeing a post from one of your friends-even though they post everyday.

  2. So many cute stuff you have made Kyle!!! I have to say...I've never been a fan of FB. I have 2 accounts but I haven't opened them in years. I feel stalked by FB as with Google really but I haven't found a replacement for Google yet as they own most of the social networking places! Good you opened a shop on EBay too as you will have more exposure and probably more sales. Good luck with it!
